Dear Cobalt & Co Hiring Team,

I am writing to apply for the Design Operations Manager position. I am a London-based Design Systems Architect with over 12 years of experience, currently working as a Design Systems Architect at Centri.

At Centri, I built the DesignOps tooling with AI coding tools: a Figma plugin for linting and versioning, a TypeScript MCP server for AI agents and a React showcase on Vercel. At Centri, I work in code alongside engineers: the token pipeline runs on GitHub Actions and Style Dictionary, and outputs CSS custom properties for Tailwind. At Centri, I created an automated token pipeline that turns Figma variables into CSS custom properties, keeping design and code in sync and removing manual handoff.

The role's focus on design automation and close collaboration with engineering closely matches the work I do best, and I would welcome the opportunity to bring this experience to Cobalt & Co.

I am based in London and can work in United Kingdom without sponsorship. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and examples of my work are available in my portfolio at carlosborghes.com.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I would be glad to discuss how I could contribute to your team.

Kind regards,
Carlos Borghes
