Dear Nimbus Works Hiring Team,

I am writing to apply for the Product Designer position. I am a London-based Design Systems Architect with over 12 years of experience, currently working as a Design Systems Architect at Centri.

At Centri, I work in code alongside engineers: the token pipeline runs on GitHub Actions and Style Dictionary, and outputs CSS custom properties for Tailwind. At Centri, I built the DesignOps tooling with AI coding tools: a Figma plugin for linting and versioning, a TypeScript MCP server for AI agents and a React showcase on Vercel. I also run the system's governance: version tracking, token usage audits and visual regression testing, together with documentation and adoption guidelines that let other teams work with the system independently.

The role's focus on close collaboration with engineering, design automation and system governance closely matches the work I do best, and I would welcome the opportunity to bring this experience to Nimbus Works.

I am fluent in English and Spanish, and examples of my work are available in my portfolio at carlosborghes.com.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I would be glad to discuss how I could contribute to your team.

Kind regards,
Carlos Borghes
