Dear Ironbridge Data Hiring Team,

I am writing to apply for the Design Systems Designer position. I am a London-based Design Systems Architect with over 12 years of experience, currently working as a Design Systems Architect at Centri.

I designed and maintain a production-grade component library with full documentation, versioning and automated releases. I also run the system's governance: version tracking, token usage audits and visual regression testing, together with documentation and adoption guidelines that let other teams work with the system independently. At Centri, I created an automated token pipeline that turns Figma variables into CSS custom properties, keeping design and code in sync and removing manual handoff.

The role's focus on component libraries, system governance and design tokens closely matches the work I do best, and I would welcome the opportunity to bring this experience to Ironbridge Data.

I am fluent in English and Spanish, and examples of my work are available in my portfolio at carlosborghes.com.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I would be glad to discuss how I could contribute to your team.

Kind regards,
Carlos Borghes
